My Makeup Collection as of 3-24-12

I love makeup, I purchased over a long period of time all these things myself. Any questions? just ask.
Let's get started.
This is my spinny storage thing (lazy susan?) The side show holds on the spot brush cleaner, water in a can, gel liner, 2 Kat Von D pigments and a primer. In front are some makeup removing wipes.
On top are liners of all sorts, eyes and lips, liquid or retractable.
This side has some face powders small palettes, cream shadows, more gel liner, maybe a glitter.
Here is a setting spray, more cream shadows, and many small eye palettes.
This is the center part of my vanity. The Too Faced bag is holding dirty but useable eye brushes. It's usually a mess because I lay everything out here when I am getting ready.
Here are most of my brushes and some everyday and random items.
This drawer holds most of what I need to finish my face in the morning. Everyday items, foundation, concealers of all types, primers, and a highlighter or two.
This is my "tool" drawer. It holds lash curlers, lash glue, lashes themselves, my Sigmax kabuki brushes and double sided brushes the can't be stood up.
Shadows that are not and cannot be depotted, loose shadows, pigments, cream shadows, bases, and back up items.
Small quads to the left, the three containers ont he right hold samples of face and lip products. The front is blushes and bronzers.
The basket holds open mascaras, out side of it is extra mascaras so I don't have a million open at all at the same time. The back is stuff that I don't know what to do with but also wont throw away and backups.
Smaller palettes, The Balm, Lorac (underneath), Tokidoki, Too Faced, and Sigma.
Lip Products.....
Palettes. Starting from the left. The past two years of Too Faced Christmas palettes. True Blood Tarte Palette, latest Urban Decay Book of Shadows, Inglot palette, Makeup Geek palette and this last year's Too Faced Christmas palette.
Here is everything overall!!

Dramatic Navy Look

Hey everyone!! I actually went out for a Sunday afternoon with this look. I know it's quite dramatic, but I got quite a few compliments!!
The first think I did was take care of my inner corner. I wanted to go light since I have dark circles and I tend to look much darker the more I use dark colors. I used a matte color close to my skin color from my Sigma Bare palette.

The next thing I used was one of the new L'Oreal Infallible eye shadow. It is a navy blue color with a royal blue glitter/shimmer. I shaped an almost winged type of look. and brought it almost all the way into the eye, leaving about a quarter of the light color.
After finishing my base, I put a little bit of Too Faced's glitter glue over the middle of the eye. I used a royal blue Bare Escentuals eyeshadow/pigment and patted it on the middle. This pop of blue really brought the look to whole other level.
I took it easy on the cheeks and lips. I used Too Faced's Chocolate Soliel Bronzer and Candlelight highlight. I used Tarte's Amazonian clay blush in exposed.
For my lips I used a Revlon lip butter in Peach Parfait.

Look for my Saturday Night! 3-3-12

Hey everyone! This is a picture from a look I chose this Saturday night.
Using some neutral shadows I just wanted to contour my eyes and then really define them with a thick winged liner and false lashes.
I used the MakeupGeek eyeshadow in Shimma Shimma all the way up to the brow. Then I used Cinderella from MakeupGeek in the crease and blended until it all edges were smooth. You can get these shadows at http://www.makeupgeek.com/store/
I used my gel liner from Buxom by Bare Escentuals. It's called lashliner and it's in Leatherette. You can get it at Sephora. Then on my lips I used Whoops!  prolongwear lipglass from Mac.
I used a really neutral blush for this strong look and lashes from Forever 21.
 Thanks for reading!

Night Out LOTD

So I am absolutely 100% loving this look. I always go dramatic when I am not working (well and I guess even when I am). HOWEVER! I just love the way this look turned out when I just wanted to play at my makeup table for dinner tonight.
I took out my four MAC crushed metals, from the winter collection. They came in the little ornament, sphere type packaging. First of all, let me say I would not reccomend purchasing these as they are so incredibly hard to work with it is almost not worth it. Before this I did my face and set it with a loose powder. This step is crucial, not only are you setting your makeup, but if you have any fallout (which these crushed metals give you) you will be able to easily sweep it away at the end.
I primed with Too Faced's glitter glue because these shadows definitely need something to grab onto. First, I used the brightest color called Pearl on the inner 2/3 of the lid, also the inner corner, and blended to perfection. I took the brown color called Roasted Chestnut and placed some in the crease, not blending just yet. Just in the crease, not extending it out yet. I took the pink color called Rose Light and put it on the outer 1/3 of the eye, then took a sigma blending brush and blended the Roasted Chestnut into the shape I wanted, which was easily done with this pigment like shadow. For the shadows you can use in your collection, just chose a frosty white, frosty light pink and a dark brown with gold glitter.
With liner, I took my favorite Buxom Lashliner in the color Suede, just any dark brown gel liner will do. I liner very close to the lashline, no thick liner for this look and all in the waterline. I used Maybelline the Falsies mascara, about 3 coast, you could apply false lashes if you'd like.
I used Too Faced's Chocolate Soliel bronzer for contour, Tarte's Exposed for blush, and Kat Von D's lipstick in Celebutard with a little bit on chapstick over it to help it not be so drying.
Hope you enjoyed this look and that these steps are helpful to recreate it!

EOTD Adele Cosmo Cover November 2011

I loved the makeup look Adele had on the Cosmo cover! She looked sooooo gorgeous!!
On the lid I used a really peachy color, and in the crease I used a darker golden peach color. I will not specify the colors because I believe they are just not available anymore. I uses a liquid liner and winged it out very thinly (Adele has large round eyes, this elongates the eye.) I must stress to not put anything on the lower lashline! There is absolutely nothing on her lower lashline, not even a bit of mascara!
I used Shadow Insurance on my lids, and I forget the color on my lips but the Revlon Creme Brulee lip butter would look fantastic!
I hope you all enjoy this look!

Sephora Haul from the V.I.B. Shopping Event (Part 6) Mascara, The End!

So when I did this haul I decided to splurge on some things I'd been looking at and these mascaras were one.

FairyDrops Scandal Queen is $20. I've posted a picture of it's claims. It is a great mascara and I might be willing to repurchase if I had the money. There is good qualities too it, I don't see anything incredibly special to it. It is very good, but again nothing special and I can get just as good looking lashes as I do when I use lashblast.

Benefit's They're Real! $22. I would definitely repurchase this. My lashes look so incredibly long and full. Although I do have naturally, long curly lashes these make them look as though I could be wearing false ones. I couldn't say anything but good things about this mascara! I love love love it.

Hope you enjoyed all these posts!

Sephora Haul From the V.I.B. Shopping Event (Part 4) Urban Decay Products

Again! Sorry for all the pics, I just wanted to show you the products as best as I could!
I had to try the Urban Decay 24/7 Shadow Pencil Stash after I swatched one of them and it wouldn't come off the whole day one time! haha The package claims these pencils "deliver water-proof, crease free, that lasts" and that they are blendable. All of which I found to be true! I used three of these today for my eye look with no shadow over and it stayed all day.
"Delinquent" is a dark purple with pink glitter
"Clash" is a bright blue with silver glitter.
"Sin" is a light shimmering tan.
"JuJu" is a light shimmering cocoa brown.
"Rehab" is a milk chocolate brown, also shimmery.
Here are the swatches!
These are so lovely, the "stash" was $34, which is slightly pricey, but these products are very high quality.
I also got the Grind House sharpener because the one I have doesn't work for these pencils. (I have NYX ones I've been trying to shove into my old one forever! This one is perfect though.) It was $10, but I think worth it to be able to sharpen a lot of products I haven't been able to for a while. Also it has a catcher so you don't have to hold it over a garbage can, which I love.
I also got a Lip Gloss Junkie in "Crush" which is awesome. So pigmented for a gloss, makes my lips super pink and full. It is plumping, but just feels cool on the lips, not tingling. It was $19, and I bought this after receiving a sample size, so I think it's worth it!
Hope you all enjoyed this!
